Drew Trgovac
Dr. Drew Trgovac serves as the GIS Program Coordinator at Arizona State University, where he teaches a variety of GIScience courses within the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning. With a commitment to advancing the applications of Geographic Information Science, Dr. Trgovac helps students and professionals leverage GIS to address complex spatial and societal challenges.
He holds a Ph.D. and Master of Arts in Geography from the University at Buffalo-SUNY, where his research focused on the intersection of spatial analysis, public health, and ecological systems. His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Ecology from Juniata College, laying the groundwork for his interdisciplinary approach to geography and spatial sciences.
Dr. Trgovac’s areas of expertise include Geographic Information Science, public health, ecology, geography, and spatial analysis. His teaching and mentorship empower students to apply GIS tools and methodologies in innovative ways, preparing them to lead in academia, industry, and beyond.
