Paideia Academies 3D Modeling

In an exciting collaboration with Paideia Academies, GRS utilized advanced 3D modeling techniques to create a comprehensive, interactive digital replica of the academy’s facilities. Leveraging the DJI Mini 4 Pro drone and specialized GIS software, our team conducted a thorough data collection session, capturing over 580 high-resolution images in just one morning. These images served as the foundation for building a highly accurate 3D scene, accessible through ArcGIS Online, and tailored for both educational and planning purposes.

The final deliverables include an interactive 3D Scene available online, a precise Orthomosaic map, and a Digital Surface Model (DSM) for further analysis. These resources provide Paideia Academies with invaluable tools for visualizing campus structures, conducting spatial analysis, and planning future development—all in one digital space. Beyond immediate project goals, this 3D model offers a dynamic way to engage with campus spaces and a platform that can support future expansion or enhancements.

By crafting a digital twin of Paideia Academies, GRS demonstrated how 3D modeling can go beyond traditional mapping to foster enhanced planning, community engagement, and data-driven decision-making. This project highlights GRS's commitment to meaningful, high-quality geospatial solutions, establishing a model that future clients can rely on for impactful and interactive visualizations.
