¡Viva Maryvale!

The Viva Maryvale project was created as a partnership between multiple organizations to produce a health promotion and diabetes prevention program for families living in and around Maryvale, Arizona. The partners that came together for the project include Maryvale Family YMCA, Mountain Park Health Center, the Family Wellness Program at St. Vincent de Paul Medical & Dental Clinic, and Arizona State University.  For this project, Geospatial Research & Solutions created the ¡Viva Maryvale! Healthy Resources Map. This web application allows participants to view points of interest in Maryvale. Users have the ability to rank, add photos, like/dislike, and add comments to these points.
